** I advertised Gucci a couple months ago but due to my health i had to put selling him on hold and was unable to do any viewings. I’m am now bringing him back into work ready to be viewed by potential homes, he is in fluffy & chunky condition after sitting in the paddock the last couple months though.

Gucci is a seriously lovely horse. People-oriented, affectionate, and always keen to get out and do something. He thrives on variety and absolutely loves an adventure. He truly has been there and done that.

Out and About:

Gucci is a true trail weapon — brave, sensible, and happy-eared. He has done many miles in the bush, road, beach and trails. You can canter along on the buckle or just mosey at a relaxed pace — he adjusts beautifully to his rider. He is confident both solo and in company.

He absolutely loves to jump and cross country is where he truly shines. He is brave, tidy in front, honest, and hunts the fence. Water, ditches, trakehners, banks — he’s all over it. He is naturally clever with his take-off spot and very adjustable to a fence. Gucci has confidently schooled at 1m jumping and 80cm on cross country. 

On the Flat:

Light in the aids and enjoyable to ride. Established on the flat and suited up to Novice dressage. He is responsive without being sharp or overly sensitive and offers a lovely ride for someone wanting to do a bit of everything. 

Guccis ideal next partner is a capable, adult or teen rider with soft hands and a balanced seat who will ride him thoughtfully. He has been ridden by beginners out on the trails and arena under supervision. 

Gucci does have some limitations which will be discussed openly and honestly with serious buyers. These simply means he is suited to up to Novice dressage and approximately 80cm eventing/showjumping, and he requires front shoes.

He is a smoochy, people-focused horse who wants to be involved in your life. He is happiest in semi-regular work with mental stimulation.

Targeted trained and capable of beautiful liberty work — he truly enjoys engaging with his person.

This is a genuine sale of a seriously nice horse. Seeking a kind, knowledgeable home who will appreciate him for the versatile, honest partner that he is. Gucci has been an excellent confidence booster for myself getting back into the saddle after a few years off. Due to no fault of his own, I have changed disciplines and I’m focusing on my young horse, so I think it’s time for this special boy to find his new person. He can come with some gear.
