Star is a much-loved 13.1hh Welsh gelding who is ready to find his own special person.

We purchased Star in early 2025 for our boutique equestrian centre, where he has since become an invaluable member of our team. During his time with us, he has safely carried everyone from Tiny Tots and beginner riders through to intermediate and competitive young riders, helping countless children develop confidence, skills and a genuine love of horses.

In April 2026, Star was successfully competed at WA Interschool competitions, further demonstrating his versatility, reliability and willingness to perform. He is an educated all-rounder with established flatwork including jumping, walk, trot and canter work, transitions, lateral work and flying changes. He enjoys dressage work to Elementary level, loves to jump and genuinely thrives when given the opportunity to get out, compete and have fun.

Currently working 4–6 days per week within our lesson program, Star remains sound, fit, enthusiastic and reliable. He is barefoot, easy to manage and has excellent manners on the ground. He is good to catch, float, groom, wash and handle and is a pleasure to have around.

While ideally suited to a capable child or teenager, Star would also make a wonderful mount for a smaller adult wanting an educated, fun and versatile partner. He loves getting out on hacks, attending clinics, Pony Club, Interschools and competitions and enjoys having a job to do.

The reason for his sale is simple: Star deserves more than a lesson program. Whilst he continues to do his job beautifully, we believe he is being wasted teaching lessons and deserves a dedicated rider who can enjoy everything he has to offer. He is a pony that thrives on connection, enjoys being part of the family and would love a rider of his own to form a genuine partnership with.

Star currently enjoys a wonderful lifestyle living in a herd environment with friends, which is important to his happiness and wellbeing. We are in no rush to sell him and finding the right home is our absolute priority.

For this reason, Star will not be sold to a beginner home. We are seeking a capable young rider, teenager or smaller adult who wants to get out, compete, learn, have fun and continue developing alongside a quality pony.

Star will be sold with his extensive wardrobe and equipment, making him a genuine turn-key package for his next owner. Included in the sale is his purpose-fitted Wintec saddle, bridle, halters, travel boots and a selection of quality rugs including summer, winter and spring rugs.

Everything required to take him straight to Pony Club, Interschools, lessons or competitions is included.
