Indi is an Arab X sporthorse and Buckskin counter-shade Dun in colour. She is a 12 year old mare, standing at approximately 14.2hh and is a very well mannered, sensible, affectionate mare that just loves to please.
Indi’s colour is an absolute rarity! She is one of very few genetically tested homozygous counter-shade Duns. Meaning she carries 2 copies of the colour gene and has very strong ‘Dun’ colour markings all year round that pairs perfectly with her brown buckskin colour. She has always taken home a ribbon, most likely 1st in any Buckskin Dun colour class.
Indi has extensive training on the ground, is broken in but lacks time under saddle. She has been to many show in-hand and always comes away with ribbons and prizes.
She has excellent respect for fences, perfect ground manners, is great for the farrier/dentist, to worm, groom and floats like a dream.
Would suit a home looking to breed exquisite colour or for an experienced rider to bring her back in to consistent ridden work as she is currently in paddock condition with occasional lunging.
Up to date with teeth, worming and farrier.
This is a extremely hard sale, I have owned her since a 2 week old foal so know all her history. I am only selling as life takes new directions and she is being wasted in the paddock. Her home is most important as she deserves the best and ideally a forever home as she really bonds with the people around her.
Can be sold with some gear at an additional price like saddle, bridle, rugs etc.
