Gypsy is a lovely pony ready for a new rider!

Gypsy has been with us for 6 years. Originally she was rescued with a herd of other horses as a foal, and we bought her as an almost three year old.

Since being with us she has been broken in, done some natural horsemanship, attended Pony Club for a year, been used for lead line and now has found her true passion – jumping!

Gypsy is good to float, do her teeth, wash, and trim (never needed to be shod). She has been clipped and we had no problems doing so. She has been on angle and straight loads with no problems.

Gypsy had some time off two years ago due to owner injury (mine, not the kids) but since our move to Bridgetown has been used extensively by her 13 year old rider for bush rides, jumping, swimming in the river etc.

Gypsy recently went to the Warren Ag Show where she competed in show horse and jumping, and came home with a stack of ribbons. 

Gypsy is not a push button pony – she’s a typical spicy mare, and has spent the last year enjoying careening around with her rider exploring the countryside and jumping (her rider’s passion). If I could shrink her rider, she’d never leave! She wouldn’t be suitable for first ridden or nervous riders.

Gypsy is looking for her next rider to continue her education and to enjoy her.  She has the willingness and scope to go a lot further, however her current rider is growing taller by the minute!
