Reliable Child’s Mount

$8,000

Description

12.3hh officially measured
Reg Welsh B
DOB 29/09/2008 – raising 15

Buzz has competed successfully with junior riders and is a pleasure to take out and about. He has produced consistent scores in dressage scoring up to 68% in Preliminary. Schooling all novice movements. Buzz has a beautiful rolling canter with great ground cover and obedient transitions. He is also suited to show hunter classes and rarely comes home without a champion or reserve.

Works well in open spaces and in group settings. He enjoys jumping, games and going out for trails. He also takes part in group lessons at our riding school with a range of different riders and is very reliable.

Buzz has EMS, however his levels are in normal range and is managed with low sugar/high fibre diet or medication (tablet per day) if needed.

Easy to clip, trim, float, tie and handled by children on the ground. Buzz does require his girth to be tightened gradually while tacking up, otherwise he can be girthy.

Buzz has been a great confidence booster for our riders and he will continue to do lessons and show until sold. Looking to compete at the Ag Shows in September and more local events.

Results:
  • Top 5 supreme ridden exhibit at Autumn Breed Show
  • Champion ridden exhibit 14hh and under
  • Highest placing participant pony at GCEC Dressage Championships
  • Midwest HOTY – Champion open pony hack
  • Midwest HOTY – Reserve Champion Hunter Pony
  • Midwest HOTY – carrying his rider to Champion Junior rider of the year

He would suit a kind, knowledgeable family with a rider who is keen to progress their riding skills. Buzz would make the ideal pony dressage or interschools mount or a fun pony club/all rounder.

We have more ponies coming through and horses in for training that require more of our time. We also have foals due so need to make some space! Buzz is ready to go on and continue to be enjoyed with his next family. He is fit and in show condition. Only to the best of homes.
