Description
Ricky is an absolute sweetheart, loves human interaction, will walk up to you in the paddock and is easy to catch. He’s easy to handle and has excellent ground manners, a very quiet and smoochy pony.
Ricky self loads on the float. Angle and straight. Easy to worm, good for the farrier, to trim, wash etc. He is a safe pony with no buck, bolt, rear, kick, bite etc.
We purchased him as a first ridden for my daughter and he has taught her so much but unfortunately she has outgrown him quickly. We have done PC and a SJ round 40 and 50cm, but mostly riding at home and having lessons to build my daughter’s confidence.
We bought him as a school master jumping pony and if you google his show name you will find some info about his previous jumping abilities. He never refuses a jump, he’s a point and shoot pony.
Ricky is a very safe pony and will look after his rider, he is a forward pony, knows his job and would make an excellent first ridden for a confident rider with an independent seat and hands.
He is very energetic for his age, will jump anything you put in front of him, and never refuses a jump.
Ricky is easy to take to events and PC, he’s been there done that so nothing phases him.
Ricky is a fun pony and will be your best friend. He will stand all day while the kids fuss over him, slide off his bum, and jump on bareback.
With one of his previous owners in 2019 Ricky won the PCWA under 12yrs leaderboard SJing in 70-85cm and 14yrs and under SJing in the 90-100cm.
Ricky is an absolute gem and a much loved member of the family as well as my daughters first ever pony so it’s a very sad sale. We are looking for a loving, safe home where he will be looked after like royalty and ridden with respect of his age.
He is Registered Welsh B, Arabian Pony and registered with the UPWBDA (buckskin, Pali etc Society) Previous owner has this info so if you want it I will have to track it down.
A loving, respectful home is most important, and the price is negotiable and includes all his fitted tack, rugs etc.
