Description
Cleo is a rising 5yo TB mare by Universal Ruler out of the Reset mare, Cortona. She stands approx. 15.1–15.2hh, with a refined build and quality bloodlines including Zabeel, Sir Tristram & Danehill on her dam side.
Since her initial start, Cleo has spent the past 2 months with Charlee Morton Sharp, where she has gained valuable mileage and exposure. During this time she has done a bit of everything — flatwork, hacking out, swimming, and popping fences — continuing to show the same willing, trainable attitude described in her earlier work. She has taken everything in stride and is proving to be an enjoyable and straightforward young horse to develop.
Cleo is easy to handle on the ground, kind-natured, and a pleasure to have around. She is sensible for her age, but remains a young Thoroughbred, so she will still benefit from a confident and knowledgeable rider to continue her education.
She is a sweet, athletic mare with plenty of potential for someone wanting a nice all-rounder or a project to bring along.
Cleo is only for sale due to lack of time, as I am juggling work commitments along with my kids’ ponies. She has been exposed to dogs and the commotion that comes with 2 small boys (including nerf guns).This is a genuine sale — she deserves more time and consistency than I can currently give her.
Suitable for: confident junior or small adult in an experienced home (no beginners please).She is a genuinely lovely horse who will be a lot of fun for the right person.
