Come join us for a two day clinic focusing on relaxation, correct bio mechanical alignment, and developing a partnership free of force. Learn how to improve your timing and use your seat effectively to make things more clear for your horse, and when to ask the right questions for more success.
Based in North Carolina, USA, Amy Skinner works with all breeds and disciplines, focusing on promoting softness, balance, and relaxation. Working with each student as an individual, she provides a relaxed atmosphere, and meets each horse and rider where they are. She believes that any horse can improve given enough time and understanding, and that force and dominance play no part in building a strong relationship. With a blend of traditional vaquero horsemanship and classical dressage principles, she works with the horse’s mind to develop confidence, and an understanding of biomechanics develops correct and sound movement.
Amy’s philosophy incorporates 3 key elements: Balance, Trust & Respect with each geared towards making the horse more beautiful, more free and more comfortable alongside bettering your partnership. Her work speaks for itself and is non-compromising when it comes to equine welfare – she has dedicated much of her life to bettering herself and her skills in the name of a correct and classical approach with equine welfare at the forefront.
