Equest Connect Clinic – Rider Feel

So often we hear people say that a particular rider has amazing “feel”. What does this mean?  Why do some riders appear to have an increased ability to feel what their horse is doing underneath them? Do you know what you should be able to feel? Do you have any idea why sometimes this is not easy to achieve? In this Equest Connect Rider Feel Clinic you will learn about the various aspects of feel from a riding and horse communication point of view. Learn what can affect our ability to feel and how we can develop and improve it, particularly in areas where you may not be currently so in-tune.  We begin with a really fun unmounted session where various exercises and discussion will increase your awareness of just what it can be possible to feel when you are riding. Then we move on to some in-hand work with your own horses to expand on some of what was learnt in unmounted session and in preparation for the final ridden session.
