Horsemens Pony Club ShowJumping and Dressage Day

Horsemens Pony Club is excited to invite you to our Leaderboard Show Jumping and Dressage Training Day! 

Open to Pony Club members only (including open and associate riders).

Sunday 31st July, Horsemens Pony Club, Gnangara Rd, Whiteman. 

This will be an exciting day of Showjumping, offering AM7, Special Two Phase and Six Bar. Showjumping starts 8am.

Dressage training – Prelim or Novice tests. Nominate your test on the entry forms. Dressage rings start 9am. 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. All manure must be removed from the grounds (bins are provided by the stables)
2. HELPER DUTIES REQUIRED
3. The committee of Horsemens Pony Club reserve the right to cancel, amend, alter or combine any
events that they deem necessary on the day.
4. All competitors must hold Pony Club membership for insurance purposes to ride on the grounds.
5. Riding on the grounds is not permitted if you are not entered in the competition.
6. All riders are required to wear a recognised standards approved helmet and boots as condition of
entry, and all standard Pony Club gear rules apply.
7. Callers are permitted for Dressage
8. Competitors shall, at all times behave in a proper and respectful manner to judges, Officials and
fellow competitors. Any exhibitor who’s conduct is considered to be ill-mannered, aggressive or
unsportsmanlike may be issued a warning and subsequently dismissed from the class or disqualified
from the competition. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
9. Rubbish must be taken home with you or deposited in the bins provided at the clubhouse.
10. Horsemens PC committee reserves the right to interpret all rules and make a decision should
disputes arise. The judge’s decision is final
11. Riders must be aware if they are entering a Leaderboard eligible event, they must be registered for
Pony Club Leaderboard for their points to be eligible.
12. Riders age is as per 1st of January 2022, as per PCWA rules.
13. Minimum rider ages apply – 45 cm minimum age 6 years. 65cm and above minimum 8 years
14. Show Jumping rules as per PCWA regulations. Event is AM7 , SPECIAL TWO PHASE and SIX BAR.
15. All ponies can be ridden by riders of any age.
16. Stallions are not permitted at this event.
17. Under no circumstances is approaching the judge, judging or coaching from the side of the ring
permitted. Failure to abide by these rules will lead to immediate disqualification and forfeit of entry
fees. This does not apply to Dressage as tests are practice only
18. Dressage rules as per EA Australia, but specific show rules or Horsemens PC rules take precedence.
19. Plaiting and jackets not required for Dressage – PCWA rules apply (long sleeves)
20. Official Uniforms required for Showjumping to be eligible for leaderboard points.
21. Pre entries only. Refunds will only be given to competitors with Vet or Doctors certificate.
22. Horsemens PC reserves the right to cancel or modify the event without prior notice, as they see fit.
23. The organising committee of Horsemens Pony Club including judges, officials, marshalls, do not
accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, illness or injury to horses, owners, riders, handlers
and spectators or any other persons on the grounds. Entry to grounds is at your own risk.
24. Please be advised that as Horsemens Pony Club is set within Whiteman Park, Kangaroo spectators

25. Dogs are not permitted on the grounds
