Wagin Woolorama Gymkhanrama

Wagin Gymkhanarama is an annual event open to owners and riders of many disciplines.

Hosted by Wagin Riding & Pony Club, the event is a horse spectacular which features challenging events from all disciplines including Dressage, Showjumping, Showhorse events, Western and Games- with more disciplines and events being added every year!

​

The event debuted on the 7th & 8th of November 2015 it is now in its seventh year running as we had to cancel the event in 2020 like so many others due to COVID.

​

The inaugural event hosted riders from all over Australia for ridden challenges in Jumping, Dressage, Games and Entertainment- as well as hosting equine stall vendors, food and drink stalls.

​

With loads of camping sites available, country hospitality makes this a can not miss event!

​

This years event is back to the traditional 2 day event run on 1st and 2nd October 2022. 

​

This year we are excited to be adding a slightly new event introducing the Horse and hound Relay.  We are brining back the popular showjumping derby, and breed classes. The combination of traditional show jumps and natural obstacles in our derby with thousands of dollars in cash and prizes should make for an exciting spectator event!

​

Dressage will be returning on Saturday.

​

We are excited to also be inviting the Australian Light Horse Troop to our event and the troop will be holding some events with their Troop including Musical Ride and Best Remount competition. 

We will be holding show horse events again this year as we have done before. 

As well as the horse events, we are again hosting stall holders with equine products for competitors and community.

Additionally there is going to be a dog High jump competition.
