Description
Wren is a rising 6 year old registered EA, APSB and welsh A mare who we have owned for 2 years, we purchased wren when she was green broken for my then 8 year old daughter.
We through wren in the deep end and took her to a few big events straight away and she never disappointed us, from a 2 day show at SEC to a 2 day show at Claremont show grounds she confidently and calmly carried my girls around those shows like she had been doing it for years and always bought home the wins. She has been shown in hand by children with success in handler classes taking out over all champion junior handler with my 9 year old and being top 5 in FOTF.
Wren absolutely loves going out on adventures it’s by far her favourite thing, she loves pony club and is a machine at jumping she has jumped up to 80cm and games as she is so bold and not scared of the kids carrying anything wren also loves the beach ! She runs straight into the water.
She floats amazing and is good for the farrier.
As good and reliable as she is Wren can be a typical welsh mare and can be pushy on the ground so needs a competent handler to keep her in check, she has also thrown in the odd buck here and there.
She can be lazy under saddle in the arena.
Wren is used to motorbikes, trucks and machinery she has never spooked at anything, she is very brave on the road ridden by kids as young as 8 on the road off lead.
She loves a trail ride and pony’s beautifully off other horses.
Wren is sensitive to the flys so always needs a light flag cotton rug on in fly season or she gets itchy. She can be bossy in the paddock.
Regretful sale of a loved and fun pony unfortunately she is being outgrown and my daughters are moving onto taller ponies.
We have endless videos and photos of wren. While she is a good girl wren needs a confident kid with a bit of grunt.
Wren will come with her bombers bit that she likes.
Wren is currently in moderate to light work, vet checks welcome.
