Rocky is  an amazing competition pony, with a fine athletic build. He has been competing 1* eventing and will show jump 110cm. 

He is a responsive horse and therefore requires a well seated rider with gentle aids. Despite this he has many buttons which have been getting fine tuned by Emma King. Rocky can turn on the fore and hind, side pass, yield, shoulder in, traverse. He is developing flying change. 

Rocky does work better with an experienced rider. He is a bold jumper and has beautiful shape and style over jumps. His sensitivity means that he does not like to touch the jumps.

He is not known to buck or rear, but can spook.

During competitions he can demonstrate some mild separation anxiety if taken with another horse such as calling out and being distracted. He self loads and has respectful ground manners most of the time.

Rocky is registered as a competitive horse with EWA in Eventing and Showjumping , as well as, being registered as a welsh/riding pony. His registeration papers will go with him. 

Rocky is also suited as a pleasure horse, pony club or Adult rider’s mount, and he does like doing sheep work, trail rides and endurance.
