Spock is an eye catching young WB gelding, who is a particular
favourite of the dressage judges.  He has three lovely correct paces.

 

For the past 18 months Spock has been ridden by a 13 year
old rider who has exposed him to many dressage, show jumping and combined
training competitions and training days, as well as pony club, both in the South
West and Perth – regularly coming home with ribbons, rosettes and even their
first rug. 

 

Spock has successfully competed at Interschools and PC
State Dressage last year, where he took in his first visits to the SEC extremely
well and competed in the indoor arena in the team workout with 3 other horses –
even winning this class. 

 

Dressage and show jumping are definitely Spock’s preferred
current disciplines – with the young pair moving from their first prep test to
their first novice test during this time and jumping competitively at 80cm,
with clear scope to go higher.   The pair
also made the reserve team for PC State Nationals in dressage and won the PC
Novice Leaderboard in 2023 in their age group.

 

Spock is still a young horse and is best suited to an ambitious dressage rider who will provide a consistent  approach with training and
exposure.

 

Spock is sound with no health issues.  He is a windsucker but this is easily
controlled by a collar and it does not affect his weight. Recent vet check and
x-rays available.  He is easy to catch
and float.

 

This is a difficult sale of a much-loved horse.  Spock will only be sold to an experienced
home to the right person who can continue his education and exposure to enable
