Due to the conclusion of our riding school, we are offering two of our much-loved children's ponies, Prince George and Suga, to exceptional homes.
Both have been part of our riding school for the past few years and have extensive experience with children through private lessons, Tiny Tots programs and children's riding program.
Both are currently in full work, although their workload has always been carefully managed and capped at a maximum of six lessons per week.
They have lived together for approximately three years in a small herd environment and are very bonded. Our preference is for them to remain together, although we will consider exceptional individual homes.
SUGA
Genuine First Ridden / Lead Rein Children's Pony
11.2hh | Grey Welsh Pony | Mare | DOB 1 March 2011
Suga is an exceptionally gentle, kind and trustworthy little mare and has been one of our go-to ponies for our youngest and beginner riders.
She is a genuine lead-rein and first-ridden pony and has extensive experience teaching children through our riding school, Tiny Tots programs and pony parties.
Suga is accustomed to young children riding, grooming, leading and handling her and takes the activity that comes with children in her stride.
She is calm, affectionate, talented and incredibly sweet. She has helped many little riders develop their confidence around ponies and has been an absolute treasure within our riding school.
For a family looking for a genuine little children's pony with extensive experience, Suga is very special.
PRINCE GEORGE
Fun, Talented Children's Jumping Pony
Shalamar Lancelot
12.3hh | Palomino Welsh D | Gelding | DOB 7 October 2012
12.3hh | Palomino Welsh D | Gelding | DOB 7 October 2012
Prince is an incredibly sweet and affectionate pony with a big personality. He loves attention, cuddles and kisses and has extensive experience being ridden and handled by children.
He has been used throughout our riding school for children's lessons and pony activities, but Prince particularly loves jumping. Give him something to do and he is in his element.
Prince has more personality than Suga and can be a little boisterous. He can occasionally nip when he becomes frustrated — never aggressively or hard — so he is best suited to a child and family who understand ponies and can give him gentle, confident and consistent boundaries.
Handled this way, he is an incredibly loving and rewarding little pony.
Prince would be best suited to a child with some riding confidence who wants a fun pony to ride, jump and develop a genuine partnership with.
HEALTH & MANAGEMENT
Both Prince and Suga have a history of laminitis, which has been successfully stabilised through careful dietary and weight management.
They are currently in full work and doing well on their established management regime. Their new owners will need to understand the requirements of laminitis-prone ponies and continue appropriate management of their diet, weight and grazing.
We want to be completely transparent about their history because finding knowledgeable, loving homes that will continue to manage them appropriately is extremely important to us.
Both ponies are up to date with their regular care.
THEY COME FULLY EQUIPPED
Both ponies will leave with their own extensive collection of equipment, including:
• Saddle
• Bridle
• Halters
• Summer rugs
• Winter rugs
• Seasonal/transitional rugs
• Other equipment belonging specifically to each pony

They have been together for approximately three years and we would dearly love to see them remain together if the right home presents itself. However, we will consider individual homes where we believe the match is right.
This is a genuinely difficult sale for us. The right home and long-term welfare of both ponies will always come first.
Genuine enquiries from suitable homes are very welcome.
